The Candance Cup – A Coveted Honour in Dance Excellence!
The Candance Cup will be one of the most prestigious accolades in the competitive dance world. This award recognizes the studio that demonstrates exceptional versatility, creativity, and excellence across a wide range of genres.
Studios show their depth and talent by combining their top five junior group routines and top five senior group routines—each in a different genre. The Candance Cup celebrates those who go above and beyond in training well-rounded dancers and delivering dynamic, standout performances in every style.

2025 Contest Champions
- Our Junior Studio Stars, “QMDA” from Québec, QC, have earned the highest number of online votes in their division during our national dance competition. Stay tuned to discover which charity will receive their $1,000 prize donation, as these talented young dancers give back to their community.
- Our Senior Studio Stars, “Studio EDML” from Marieville, QC, achieved the top spot for online votes in their division, showcasing their talent and strong community support. Check back soon to see which charity will benefit from their generous $1,000 donation as part of our Studio Stars charity initiative.

Diamond Dance Off
Every Canadian competition we execute finishes with one unique event you won’t want to miss.. Our highly anticipated Candance Diamond Dance Off! It’s your chance to battle for the regional Championship Title against other carefully selected diamond winning routines. How exciting! How does it work? Throughout the event should your small group, large group, line or extended line routines receive a diamond award, you automatically qualify! Newly improved, we’ve limited each studio to 3 Junior and 3 Senior routines to make the event even more epic than ever before! If you have never experienced this event in person you truly don’t know what you’re missing. Our new champions will receive not only scholarships but handsome cash awards at our final awards ceremony following the event.

Novice & Pre-Competitive Dance Off
Candance is thrilled to announce the addition of a Novice/Pre-Competitive Dance Off at each regional event—provided we have 30 or more group entries! Get ready for the excitement as the Top 10 novice/pre-competitive group routines battle it out for top awards! 🏆 Each studio can enter just one routine in this exclusive dance off.
