All contestants are introduced in a group setting and receive their official Title Soloist Package.
Following the introductory meeting we host a series of audition classes, used in addition to your performance score to determine our Title Soloist Champions. All Title Solo contestants must participate in a live interview, filmed for use on the big screen on Competition day.
Throughout the week we host a series of incredible convention classes taught by legends of dance from the industry, across a number of ballrooms with an accommodating schedule.
If you’re not in one of our popular convention classes, you might find yourself on our BIGGEST STAGE of the season during our annual Performing Arts Competition! Located in the main ballroom and fully loaded with professional lighting and audio, plus one INCREDIBLE stage where we will host our main events throughout the entire National Finals competition. We can’t wait to share what we have planned for this season!
Thousands of dancers have crossed our stage in the last few years but only a few come out victorious. Each season eight incredibly lucky contestants earn the right to call themselves Title Soloist Champion, representing their studio as reigning champion for the entire next season of dance.
All the excitement returns to our stage. Join us this season if you missed out last year!
Our National Finals Dance Off is an event only to be experienced in person. Join us as some of North America’s finest talent battle for our biggest awards of the year.
Shortly after, we transform the entire ballroom into one of the most magical dinner settings you’ve had the chance to be part of – leading to our annual Awards Ceremony and our biggest cash prizes. Book your tickets well in advance, seats tend to go fast.

An exciting week of classes available to all dancers, featuring special celebrity guests and our National Finals judges’ panel. Classes run 8am to 9pm in all dance genres, throughout the entire week.
The official faculty is released prior to the National Finals. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn and expand as a dancer alongside hundreds of others from across North America.

We’re excited to host 4 auditions for dancers ages 10-25 in Ballet, Jazz, & Contemporary, with classes for acceptance into the JBS 2026 and 2027 Summer Intensives. Auditions will also include consideration for the JBS Trainee Program in NYC for dancers ages 14-25
The Joffrey Ballet School has trained dancers in New York City for over seven decades, with alumni performing in companies and productions around the world. Their summer intensives and trainee program are among the most sought-after training opportunities in dance.
Audition classes for acceptance into the Joffrey Ballet School 2026 & 2027 Summer Intensives.
Dancers ages 14–25 will also be considered for the JBS Trainee Program in New York City.
