Your Vote, Their Cause

The People’s Choice Awards are the only Candance award decided entirely by the public — and the only one that turns into a cheque for someone else.

Routines are filmed

Candance became the first dance competition in Canada to stream events live over the internet at no cost. Today we’ve reached 300,000+ viewers and keep improving every year.

Voting opens online

Polls run through June. Anyone can vote — dancers, families, friends, strangers.

Two winners are crowned

One in 12 & Under, one in 13 & Over.

The studio picks the charity

Candance donates $1,000 per winning routine to a registered charity of their choosing.
